Wyoming Tourism — ROAM with Rice
To push the “Roam Free” campaign into winter, we went straight to the top of the mountain. Travis Rice had just blown the snowboard world’s collective mind with his film “The Art of Flight.” Given the opportunity, he didn’t hesitate to step up for his home state. Working with him, Teton-based designer Tim Tomkinson and Lib Technologies, we created a limited run of custom Wyoming-themed boards. We then used Rice’s massive social following to generate entries for a Winter in Wyoming sweepstakes: forty winners were awarded the board of their choice, while one lucky entrant received an all-expense paid trip to Jackson to ride with the man himself.
Naturally, I needed a complete run of the boards for my own portfolio. They play well on big blower days.
