My time on Wyoming’s “Roam Free” campaign was as unforgettable as the state itself. I wrote a spot that one of my heroes, Robert Duvall, not only voiced but called “well written.” We ran a sticker campaign to motivate tourists to see more of the state via less-traveled routes. I made snowboards with a big mountain legend. And we pumped visitation to record levels in consecutive years. Not too shabby.
